Meet the Bookmobile Staff
Nicole Terry has been with the Marin County Free Library since 1995. She grew up in Marin and has worked in different branches throughout the county. She was hired in 2007 as a Bookmobile Assistant. She is devoted to giving excellent customer service to her patrons and is convinced she ended up at the Bookmobile because she has a hard time using a “library voice”!
Terry Jones is a longtime Marin County resident and has been with the library since 2002. She and Nicole alternate driving the Bookmobile to the many stops throughout the county. Terry heads the Mobile Library Services department and enjoys each and every one of the communities the bookmobile serves. Come join Terry and Nicole at a stop near you or visit us during our Thursday storytimes!
The Bookmobile has been in service to Marin residents since 1948. We currently have stops 4 days a week to a variety of different venues, including one-room school houses, ranches, assisted living facilities, preschools and a number of community stops. The Bookmobile is stocked with a large collection of adult books, children’s books for every level of reader, books on CD, DVDs and a large Spanish collection for children and adults alike. We can also bring your requests out to any stop. Come visit us at a stop near you!
