Maker Camp at the Marin City and Novato Library!

What is Maker Camp?  Maker camp is a six-week virtual summer camp for teens, and features how-to instruction to complete 30 awesome projects in 30 days. Camp counselors provide guidance throughout the day to help teen’s successfully complete projects.

Dates/Schedule:

July 16th–August 24thThe first day of camp is July 16th and materials lists for the first week of camp will be posted on the MAKE Google+ page on July 9th. Each day of the week is themed to appeal to every camper’s unique interests:

• Maker Monday

• Tinkering Tuesday

• Weird Science Wednesday

• Theoretical Thursday

• Field Trip Friday

Marin City Library will participate in the launch of Maker Camp! Come by the Marin City Library at 10:30 AM to participate. From 12:00 to 1:00 there will be a live broadcast. Teens and adults that wish to participate in the live broadcast must have signed permission forms.

Novato Library: come to the Novato Library from 11:00 – 2:00 every Friday till the end of the summer EXCLUDING August 3rd to make projects from earlier in the week and participate in Field Trip Friday. This Friday July 20th the Field Trip will be to the Ford Research and Innovation Lab! Lunch and snack provided, picky eaters are encouraged to bring their own food. Signups recommended but walk ups are OK if we have space. This program will run through August 17th.
