Inverness historian Meg Linden describes the current exhibit at the Jack Mason Museum of West Marin History in the Inverness Library. This photographic display, "Thank Goodness It Never Happened," looks at both the overall West Marin Master Plan, created in the 1960s for development of part of West Marin, and also at several specific proposals which if implemented, would have precluded the development of the National Seashore as it exists today. The Jack Mason Museum is open to the public on the same days and hours as the Inverness Library. In addition, the exhibit will  be open on the 4th of July from 10-2 and also during the Inverness Fair, Saturday, August 10 from 10-2.
