Nancy Hemmingway and Charlotte Torgovitsky at the Inverness Library

Painted Ladies, Monarchs, Anise Swallowtails, Cabbage Whites, Common Checkered Skippers, California Ringlets and Grass Skippers! We saw beautiful pictures of all these butterflies and learned about their larval host plants at the Inverness Library today. Charlotte Torgovitsky of the Marin chapter of the California Native Plant Society taught us all about habitat gardening and which plants are sure to be magnets for butterflies. We all enjoyed it and hope she'll agree to come back next year!
