Did you know that March is the month of the Sock Monkey Madness Festival?  Made out of Rockford Red Heel Work Socks, sock monkeys had their heyday in the 1950’s.  A copy of the sock monkey pattern was included with every pair of socks and, well as they say, the rest is history!  This year’s festival featured an Elvis sock monkey, a Jack Sparrow sock monkey, and many more.  Of course your library has sock monkey books.  Check these out:
