Stinson Beach Historical Society
The Stinson Beach Historical Society has an ongoing exhibit at the library. The theme changes approximately every three months. The current exhibit is historic photographs from the annual Holiday Luncheon. Come and enjoy old Stinson Beach!
June, 2010: The Historical Society's wall is currently a presentation of photographs, by Dewey Livingston, from past Dipsea races.
Ellis, McKnew, and Morrison
Jim Ellis - carvings and models from the wildlife around us.
Rob McKnew - drawings of the imaginary world around us.
Jeff Morrison - 360 portraits on Post-its of people passing thru the world around us.
This show is an eclectic mix of the art of 3 local artists. Jim's large fish and sharks, Jeff's post- it portraits and Rob's bird and mermaid drawings.
It will be up until mid-August.
Come in and enjoy this new show!

Poets First Thursday
The Stinson Beach Library is happy to offer an open monthly poetry workshop on the first Thursday of every month at 7:30 P.M.
Bring your poems to a workshop in a supportive community environment.

Make A Splash - Summer Reading Game
Get your feet wet with the summer reading game! This year it is entitled "Make A Splash" with lots of events and fabulous prizes (bookmarks, pizza coupons, treasures and a t-shirt). The game kicks off June 12th, but you can sign up starting June 1st.The Stinson Beach Library has three special programs this summer featuring drumming, wild animals and singing cowpokes. See the listings below.
Programs are for children age 3 and up unless otherwise noted and are generously sponsored by the Friends of the Marin County Library. All Library events are free.

The Stinson Beach Library is located at 3521 Shoreline Highway and its mailing address is P.O. Box 578, Stinson Beach, CA 9497.
Take the San Anselmo exit from Highway 101 and drive west on Sir Francis Drake Blvd. to Olema. Turn left on Highway 1. The Library is in the center of town near the entrances to the park and the beach.
Bus stop: The West Marin Stagecoach stops nearby at the Stinson Beach Post Office.
