Weekly Storytimes

Join us for stories, songs and fun!

 

Baby & Me -  Ages 6 to 18 months. Thursdays 10:00 a.m. 

(Note: No Baby & Me in August. Resumes Thursday September 9th.)

Lapsit Storytime - Ages 18 to 36 months. Tuesdays & Wednesdays 10:00 a.m.

(Note: No Lapsit in August. Resumes Tuesday September 7th.)

 

Preschool Storytime - Ages 3 to 6 years. Wednesdays & Saturdays 11:00 a.m.

Monthly Book Clubs

The Novato Library offers several book clubs that meet once a month.

Everyone welcome!

 

Tuesday Afternoon Book Club meetings are usually held on 3rd Tues 1-2 pm.

Wednesday Night Book Club meetings are usually held on 4th Weds 7-8 pm.

Mystery Reader's Book Club meetings are usually held on 2nd Thurs 10:30-11:30 am.

Thursday Night Mystery Book Club meetings are usually held on 3rd Thurs 7-8pm.

Spanish Language Women's Book Club meetings have moved to 1st Weds 7:30-9 p.m.

 

Please note that due to holidays or other scheduling needs, meetings may sometimes occur on a different date. Check out our Calendar of Events to see upcoming dates and book selections for all of our book clubs.

 

Special book club copies of the upcoming book are available at club meetings. Book club copies check out for six weeks. If you miss a book club date, call the library's reference desk to have a book club copy set aside for you. Large type editions are available for most titles. Ask the Librarian to reserve a copy for you.

Conversation Club in English for Adults (ESL)

Would you like to practice conversational skills? Be part of this weekly, free program. At every class there will be a leading tutor from the Novato Library and assisting tutors from the Center for Volunteer and Nonprofit Leadership of Marin, They will assist participants with practicing their English conversation skills. 

 

Every Monday, 6-7:30pm.

Advance registration is required.

All nationalities welcome!

Asista este programa gratuito ofrecido cada semana en donde tendrá la oportunidad de practicar e incrementar su habilidad para conversar en inglés con tutores de la Biblioteca de Novato y de la organización "Center for Volunteer and Nonprofit Leadership of Marin".
