Writers' Group

On the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month, an open Writers' Group meets at the Inverness Library from 7:00-9:00PM.

 

Aspiring writers read sections of recent work and discuss it together, with humor.

Laptop Computer Class

Once a month Inverness Library offers a laptop computer class. 

 

The class is taught by an experienced web master and computer expert. 

 

It generally is on the first Wednesday of the month but this is subject to change due to our instructor's schedule. 

 

Each month's class features a particular subject area and is limited to ten participants.

Quilters' Meeting

On the 2nd Tuesday of every month the Inverness Library hosts an open quilters' meeting.

 

Each participant brings their own project and supplies, and they share ideas and innovations with the group (i.e. did you know that you can use clippies in place of straight pins?).

Knitting and Spinning Group

Each Friday at 3:00 we have a knitting and spinning group.  Individuals may bring their own work and spinning wheels. Every other week an experienced knitter is there to assist.  Knitting books are also on display and available for checking out.

Coffee And Tea Klatsch

Come to the library every Wednesday morning from 10:00-12:00AM for our weekly coffee and tea klatsch. Linger over a hot beverage, read the newspapers, and meet your neighbors.
