Corte Madera Library closed for Labor Day
The Corte Madera Library, and all branches of the Marin County Free Library System, will be closed on Monday, September 6, 2010, in observance of the Labor Day Holiday.

September is Library Card Month
September only, replace your library card for free!
Especially for kids-- get a brand-new shiny library card set: a wallet-sized card plus a tiny card on a curly key chain!
And, for kids (through sixth grade) enter the Giants raffle!!! Show us your Marin County library card, old or new, and you'll be entered in a raffle for a set of four tickets to the San Francisco Giants vs. the San Diego Padres on Saturday, October 2.
Kids can enter the raffle starting Wednesday, September 1 through Monday, September 20. One entry per person. Ten sets of four tickets will be raffled at the end of the day on September 20.

Read to a Dog
The Marin Humane Society presents Read to a Dog at the Corte Madera Library on the first Saturdays in June, July and August.
Kids age 5-9 are invited to call the Children's Librarian at (415) 924-6382 to sign up for a 10 minute session, between 2 and 3 pm.

From Highway 101 exit west on Tamalpais Drive. Turn left on Madera Blvd. and left on Meadowsweet. The library is on the right.
Golden Gate Transit bus routes 18 and 22 and the Twin Cities Shuttle stop about a 1/2 block from the Library. Nearly all of the routes on Highway 101, including routes 70 and 80, stop at the bus pads within walking distance.
