If you'd like to share the reading experience and enjoy a good discussion about a book, check out one of the library book clubs, listed below.   Participation is free, all you have to do is read the book!

Civic Center Library Brown Bag Book Club

The book club has been meeting since October 2000. We meet on the fourth Wednesday of each month from 12 noon to 1:00, in the library. There aren't many rules and qualifications:

1. Enjoy reading and discussing quality works of fiction or nonfiction with an open mind
2. Read the book we are discussing before attending (or part of the book or none of the book)
3. Bring your lunch if you wish!

Corte Madera Library Book Club

Fairfax Library Book Club

Our Book Club meets on the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm. All books are available through the Marin County Free Library system. You can check availability (and even put a hold on) the books through the Library's Catalog. If you'd like to purchase your book, BookBeat in Fairfax has offered our members a 15% discount. To find out about our next selection, check out the Fairfax Book Group blog.  The Friends of the Fairfax Library will provide a moderator to keep the discussions lively and interesting. Marin City Library Book Club

Meetings are held on second Thursdays, 10:30 - 11:30 am. Everyone welcome!

Meetings are held on third Tuesdays, 1:00 - 2:00 pm. Everyone welcome!

Meetings are usually held on the first Monday of the month, 7:00 - 8:00 pm.  Come join us for lively and fun discussions of recent bestsellers.

South Novato Library Reading Club

The South Novato Reading Club meets the second Tuesday at 6 pm. New members are welcome to help pick the next reading selections. Please come whether you have read the current book or not to find out what our Reading Club is like.

 

West Marin Men's Reading Group

Meetings are held the third Monday of every month from 7:00 8:00 pm at the Point Reyes Library.
