Major Pettigrew's Last Stand

This book engaged me from the first page.  The characters are well drawn and engaging--some because I really liked and admired them as people, and others because of their portrayal exemplifying a shallowness of character that is all too prevalent in society.  I highly recommend it and hope we will see more works by this author.
