From a staff member at the Civic Center Library: I'm currently listening to Tina Fey's Bossypants and just loving it. I'm laughing and learning. She is funny, insightful, and suprisingly motivational. She's narrating her book and that adds an extra dimension of pleasure to this "reading" experience.
And--I'm still agog about The Hunger Games trilogy. This is the only time that I've listened to something that I also had to order the book(s) so I could read when I wasn't listening. I found the series riveting, especially the first book, The Hunger Games. Thought-provokoing, topical, well-written teen books that work for "gray hairs" too.
I'm watching House of Eliott and Doc Martin on DVD.
Fans of the HGTV show "Selling New York" might enjoy the new novel by Michelle, Sabrina and Samantha Kleier, Hot Property.
