Marin County Free Library is fortunate to have the support of a network of Friends organizations. Our Friends create awareness and appreciation of library services in the community and provide monetary support for programs and materials.

In addition to the County Friends are smaller chapter organizations.  Please contact any of the groups directly to find out how you might become involved in the important work they are doing.

Membership in the Friends of the Marin County Free Library includes:

• Our quarterly newsletter, Library Leaves, bringing you the latest on Friends' projects in each branch, and the challenges facing our libraries (as well as their successes)
• Advance notice of used book sales
• News about ballot initiatives and other important legislative efforts
• Announcements of volunteer opportunities at The Book Place, and SuperSale
• An invitation to the Friends' annual meeting and program
• The satisfaction of knowing that your contribution directly supports our libraries

You may choose to become a member of the County Friends, in which case all of your contribution will be shared with all ten branches of the Marin County Free Library.
